You might have heard of apple pie, but give this scrumptious strawberry rhubarb pie a try! Rose bakes this new classic dessert with virtual help from her Aunt Alixe.
Strawberry Rhubard Filling:
- 3 cups rhubarb (700 ml)
- 3 cups strawberries (700 ml)
- 1/3 cup (80ml) brown sugar
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) white sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1TBSP orange juice
- 1/4 cup butter
Muriel's Famous Pie Crust (enough for two)
- 4-4.5 cups unbleached flour, sifted
- 1 TBSP sugar
- 3 tsp salt
- 1 egg
